WHY “GÎTE Chez LÉA”?

The story of Gîte Chez Léa in Lozère in Javols

“The cottage is located in the heart of the village of Javols in Lozère. Before being renovated, the Gite was a farm inhabited by an old lady named Léa. She lived alone in this farmhouse, surrounded by her many Aubrac dogs and cows.

The gite is next to our holiday home, and then became later on our home. We have therefore always known Léa, the owner of the place.

All the more so, bonds have been created between our family and Léa. Before she died, we first promised her to take care of her dog “Negrou”. Then we quickly made the decision to buy this crumbling farmhouse and bring it back to life. Since Léa was the soul of the small Javolese hamlet, we decided at the same time to pay her a last tribute. This is why we naturally gave her first name to our cottage.

I have completely renovated the cottage, with a few friends of mine during holidays and weekends for five years long.

My wife and I will be delighted to share with you in more detail the history of your future peaceful vacation spot in our cottage in Javols in Lozère.”.
