Deroc Waterfall
Walk of the waterfall of the Deroc near the cottage located in Javols, Lozère
We have selected a walk to the waterfall of the Deroc, around our cottage in Javols during your stay in lozere.
The Deroc waterfall is located 3 km from the village of Nasbinals in Aubrac. 30 meters long, it overlooks the small glacial valley of the Gambaïse stream.
The waterfall is home to one of Aubrac’s treasures, a small cave. In this cave, the ceilings are formed by basaltic organs which make all the beauty of this place.
However, to access the cave under the waterfall, it is necessary to have good physical conditions because, in fact, it is not easy to access.
Therefore, a walk around the waterfall is possible after a good meal at buron of Nasbinals. The colors of the landscape change according to the seasons and make this spot a must see and visit in Lozère.
Regarding the access conditions, a free parking is located at the entrance to the path that leads to the waterfall.
