Located in Margeride on the plateau of the Palais du Roi, Lake of Charpal is known to be the largest no-kill fishing lake in France. Indeed, all caught fish must immediately and compulsorily be released.
Therefore, the three most caught types of fish are pike, perch and rudd. In addition, this body of water with an area of 190 hectares is part of a magnificent landscape of Margeride.
In fact, fishermen and walkers will be able to replenishing their spirits and enjoy the approximately 9 km course, laid out and marked in an authentic setting in the heart of the nature.
